history
In 1974, planning began to build a second grammar school in Tuttlingen. On August 8, 1977, the new Gymnasium II was ready to move into. The year-long lack of space and the accommodation of several classes in transitional rooms was over. At this point in time, Gymnasium II already had 837 students and thus more than Gymnasium I. Roland Fischer became the headmaster. It was not until more than half a year later that a decision was made about the naming of the two high schools. Since April 24, 1978, Gymnasium I has been known as Immanuel-Kant-Gymnasium (IKG) and the new gymnasium as Otto-Hahn-Gymnasium (OHG). Since 2010 there has been a house for the students as a lounge and cafeteria together with the city's Immanuel-Kant-Gymnasium .
