Silvia Szücs (born April 29, 1993 in Košice ) is a Slovak handball player .

Career

Szücs initially played in the Bayern League for 1. FC Nürnberg Handball 2009 . After the backcourt player was the most successful goalscorer of her team in the 2011/12 season, she signed the second division SVG Celle . With Celle, she rose to the Bundesliga in 2014 . From summer 2015 to 2017 she was under contract with TuS Metzingen . From the summer of 2018, she appeared for the second division TV Beyeröhde . Two years later she joined the third division Fortuna Düsseldorf .

Szücs played a total of 26 games for the Slovak youth and junior national team. She has been a member of the Slovak national team since 2014 , for which she has played five international matches so far.

Private

Her father Gabor used to play for the Czechoslovak national handball team . Her brother Csaba also plays handball.
