The 2008/09 ÖHB Cup was the 22nd edition of the men's handball cup competition. The Fivers Margareten handball club won the cup with a victory over HIT Innsbruck .

Six representatives from the regional associations, ten teams from the Handball Bundesliga Austria and four teams from the Handball League Austria take part in the first round. The winners of the individual games moved into the 2nd round.

The final round, the Final Four , took place in the Margareten sports hall in Vienna on April 17th and 18th, 2009.
