Silvio d'Anza (born September 29, 1974 in Frankfurt am Main ) is a Croatian-German singer ( tenor ).

D'Anza is assigned to pop , although classical elements can also be found in his music .

Life

The son of a Croatian migrant family has been married to his wife from Montenegro since 2007 .

Although he played in various football clubs in his youth, Silvio d'Anza decided to play music very early. He gained his first musical experience in the church choir. At the age of 14 he received professional singing lessons. Then he attended a musical school, but ultimately decided on the opera stage, like his role model Mario Lanza . After graduating from high school, Silvio d'Anza studied singing and piano at the Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts , where he trained as an opera tenor.

He started his professional career as an opera singer with classic parade roles at home and abroad as a lyric tenor . He also began composing and producing his own tracks, and later switched from classical to popular music. With his debut CD Music 2003 Silvio d'Anza had his first number one album in the former Yugoslavia and landed his first hit with the title Dalmacijo, don't say goodbye . Since that time five albums have been released in Croatia , Slovenia , Serbia , Switzerland , Austria and Germany . He made his German debut in 2008 on the television program Winterfest der Volksmusik in Riesa , where he presented his album Today, Tomorrow, Forever .
