Simeon Taylor Price (born May 16, 1882 in St. Louis , Missouri , † December 16, 1945 in Washington, DC ) was an American golfer .

biography

Simeon Price was the son of a famous St. Louis attorney and judge and played golf at Glen Echo Country Club .

At the Olympic Games in 1904 in St. Louis when were the team event only two teams reported. Without further ado, ten players joined together and started as the United States Golf Association . This team, which Price also belonged to, won the bronze medal. In the individual, however, he was eliminated in the first round against Arthur Havemeyer .

Simeon Price was related to the actor and author Vincent Price .
