The Simison Creek (also Stony Creek called) is a stream in the Midwest of the United States.
It originated in a small wetland in Jay County , Indiana . Like many streams in this strongly agrarian region, Simison Creek first runs through various drainage ditches along the fields. Only after the intake of further canalised waters does the trickle become a real stream, which flows north-northeast through the county. Shortly before its mouth, Simison Creek crosses the state border with Ohio . From there the creek officially bears the name Stony Creek . It flows into the upper reaches of the Wabash River near Fort Recovery .
Simison Creek is 16.25 km long and has a drainage area of 18.21 km².
