Simon Burke (born August 14, 1970 ) is a former British biathlete .

Si Burke's international career is limited to a series of missions in 2007. First he started at the Biathlon European Championships 2007 in Bansko, Bulgaria , where he was 55th in the individual, 56th in the sprint, 43rd in the pursuit and with Carl Carrier , Paul Whibley and Simon Allanson 13th in the relay competition. This was followed by appearances in the European Biathlon Cup , the best result there was a 29th place in the pursuit of Haute-Maurienne . The last international race was also the only use in the Biathlon World Cup . In Pokljuka Burke was together withLee-Steve Jackson , Kevin Kane and Stephen Hill used and reached 18th place.

Nationally, Burke was one of the most successful biathletes in the mid-2000s with six titles. In 2004 he won his first silver medal with his unit's military patrol. In 2005 he finished second with the team and third in the patrol run and with the relay. The following year he won again in these three competitions, but was even able to achieve silver in the season. In 2007 he won the titles in all three competitions. In addition, there was silver in the individual behind Marc Walker , with whom he also won all medals of his career in the relay and in the team, as well as bronze in the sprint and in the mass start. In 2008 he won the title in the team, with the relay and in the patrol run and also bronze in the individual. In 2009 there was also a bronze medal with the military patrol.
