Simon Kindschi (born May 11, 1996 in Davos ) is a Swiss ice hockey player who has been under contract with EHC Kloten in the Swiss League since 2019 .

career

Kindschi comes from the HC Davos youth movement . In the 2013/14 season he made his first appearance for his home club in the National League A (NLA) and was hailed as a discovery the following season, even if a hand injury temporarily forced him to take a break. He contributed to winning the Swiss championship in 34 qualifying games and ten playoff games. In the 2015/16 season he was sidelined for a while with a shoulder injury and subsequent surgery. Thanks to a B license, he was also used for Hockey Thurgau in the NLB .

In April 2018 Kindschi left HC Davos and switched to SCL Tigers . In October 2018 he was given a B license to the EHC Kloten and spent about half the season in Kloten. In January 2019, Kindschi signed a two-year contract with EHC Kloten, which has been in place since the 2019/20 season.

National team

In December 2015 and January 2016 he took part in the U20 World Cup.
