Romano Lemm (born June 25, 1984 in Dielsdorf ) is a Swiss ice hockey player who has been under contract with EHC Kloten in the Swiss League since 2010 .
Career
Romano Lemm began his career as a hockey player with the Kloten Flyers from the National League A , for which he had already played as a youth. After the attacker had made his professional debut in the National League B for HC Thurgau in the 2000/01 season , Lemm was on the ice for the first time in the playoffs of the 2001/02 season for the Kloten Flyers. After eight years with the Flyers, Lemm signed a contract with their league rivals HC Lugano in the summer of 2008 , with whom he won 3: 4 in the playoffs of the 2008/09 season in the quarter-finals at the later champions HC Davos in the best-of-seven series failed. For the 2010/11 season Lemm returned to the Kloten Flyers. He signed a four-year contract with his original club.
In October 2011, it became known that Lemm had a benign cranial nerve tumor and had to undergo an operation a few days later. On November 2, 2012, after a break of over a year, Lemm played his first game again with the Flyers.
International
For Switzerland , Lemm took part in the U18 Junior World Championships in 2001 and 2002 , the U20 Junior World Championships in 2003 , and the A World Championships in 2005 , 2006 , 2007 , 2008 and 2009 . Lemm was also in the Swiss squad at the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin and 2010 in Vancouver .
