Tim Grossniklaus (born February 25, 1995 in Beatenberg ) is a Swiss ice hockey player who has been under contract with the SCL Tigers in the National League since 2019 and is loaned to EHC Kloten .

career

Grossniklaus went through the youth movement of SC Bern and between 2013 and 2015 served as team captain of the elite juniors of the SCB. He made his debut in the National League A for the Bernese during the 2012/13 season . He spent parts of the 2014/15 season thanks to a B license at EHC Olten  in the National League B and then moved to SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers in the 2015/16 season . However, he had to take the first few months off after he had an accident on a beach holiday in Turkey in the summer of 2015 and suffered a cervical vertebra injury that required an operation.

After two years at the Rose townsfolk Gross Niklaus was the season 2017/18 by the HC Davos put under contract. First he received a trial contract and was then permanently committed. At the end of January 2018, he moved from Davos to league competitor Genève-Servette HC . He then played one season at EHC Olten before he was signed by the SCL Tigers for the 2019/20 season . They loaned him to the EHC Kloten in September 2019 .

National team

Grossniklaus ran for the age groups U16, U17, U18, U19 and U20 for the Swiss national team .
