Simone Benedetti (born April 3, 1992 in Turin ) is an Italian football player .

Career

In the club

Born in Turin , Benedetti joined the Turin FC football school in 2005 , which he attended until 2010. At the end of the 2009/10 season he made his first professional appearance in the Serie B game against AS Cittadella . After the season he moved to Inter Milan , where he was active in the youth department for another year. With Inter he took part in the 2010 Club World Cup, where he celebrated his first title. In the following three seasons Benedetti was awarded to lower class club to get match practice. He played a total of 90 games for AS Gubbio 1910 , Spezia Calcio and Calcio Padova . In the 2014/15 season , Benedetti then moved to Cagliari Calcio . On October 19, 2014 he made his Serie A debut in the game against Sampdoria Genoa . Since Benedetti was hardly ever used, he switched to FC Bari 1908 on loan for half a year in 2015 . Since he only made a few appearances in the following season at Cagliari, he switched to Virtus Entella in 2016 .

In the national team

Benedetti ran from 2008 to 2012 for several junior selections in Italy and completed a total of 52 games.
