Simson S83

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Simson S83 are light motorcycles from Simson based on the S53 model . However, they had 70 cc engines with 4.1 kW.

The Simson S83 was offered in six versions from 1990:

  • Simson S83 B (normal equipment)
  • Simson S83 C (extended equipment)
  • Simson S83 N (simple equipment)
  • Simson S83 CX (extended equipment with disc brake and cast aluminum wheels)
  • Simson S83 E (off-road version with simple equipment)
  • Simson S83 OR (off-road variant with extended equipment)

Then, from 1994, modernized types of the S83 B or S83 C and the S83 E or S83 OR followed. They now had a larger but less attractive lamp pulpit. In addition, the rear light was enclosed by a further paneling part, which leads over the spring struts to the rear light. The light motorcycle has a displacement of 69.9 cm³ , which allows 4.1 kW (5.6 HP) and a speed of 75 km / h. The road models have now been designated "Alpha" and the Enduro version "Beta".
