The Sistefjell ( Norwegian for Last Mountain ) is a cliff-like mountain in the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . It rises 16 km southeast of the Neumayer steep wall at the northeast end of the Kirwanveggen .
Norwegian cartographers, who named the mountain after its geographical location, mapped it on the basis of surveys and aerial photographs of the Norwegian-British-Swedish Antarctic Expedition (1949–1952) and aerial photographs of the Third Norwegian Antarctic Expedition (1956–1960) taken from 1958 to 1959 .
