Skärmarbrink is an above-ground station on the Stockholm Metro . It is located in the Johanneshov district . The station is served by the Gröna linjen of the Stockholm subway system . The station is one of the less frequented stations on the underground network. On a normal working day, 6,000 commuters get on here.

The station was put into operation on October 1, 1950 under the name Hammarby as the 5th station of the Tunnelbana, when the first section of the Tunnelbana between Slussen –Hökarängen was inaugurated. The station received its current name only in 1958. The station is located between the stations Hammarbyhöjden (T17) or Blåsut (T18) and Gullmarsplan . It is around 4.5 km to Stockholm Central Station .
