Harenda ski area
The Harenda ski area is located on the northern slopes of the Rafaczańska Grapa in the Polish mountain range Pogórze Gubałowskie in the municipality of Zakopane in the Powiat Tatrzański in the Lesser Poland Voivodeship . It is located outside the Tatra National Park . The ski resort is operated by Harenda-Wyciągi Sp. Z oo, which is owned by local Góralen .
location
The ski area is located at an altitude of 770 to 980 m. The difference in altitude between the slopes is approx. 210 m. There is a black (very difficult), a red (difficult), a blue and three green slopes. The total length of the slopes is approx. 4 km, with the longest slope being 1.2 km long.
history
The ski area was created in 2002. The ski lifts were built in 2004. There are plans to combine the ski area with the Suche ski area , which is located on the northern slope of the same mountain.

Ski lifts
There are four chair lifts in the ski area. A total of 4070 people can be transported per hour.
Polana Szymoszkowa ski lifts
The four ski lifts lead from Zakopane to just below the Gubałówka ridge. Their lengths are up to approx. 600 m.

Infrastructure
The ski area is located north of the center of Zakopane and can be reached by car. There are parking spaces at the lower station. The ski area has a snow park, a four-kilometer cross-country ski run, an ice rink, a ski school and a ski rental. There are also several restaurants in the ski area. The TOPR mountain rescue service has a branch in the upper area.
