The Skilak Glacier is a 17 km long glacier fed by the Harding Icefield in the Kenai Mountains in the US state of Alaska .
The glacier is located in the Kenai National Wildlife Refuge , 36 km northwest of Seward . The 2 km wide valley glacier flows in a northerly direction and ends at a glacier edge lake, which is drained over the Skilak River to Skilak Lake 17 km northwest . The Skilak Glacier is on the decline.
