Skomoroschky ( Ukrainian Скоморошки ; Russian Скоморошки Skomoroschki , Polish Skomoroszki ) is a village in the east of the Ukrainian Oblast Vinnytsia with about 1400 inhabitants (2001).

Sugar factory in the village

In the village first mentioned in writing in the 18th century, which historically and ethnographically belongs to the Podolia region , a first sugar factory was built in 1860. In the 1970s the village belonged to Pohrebyschtsche Rajon . Skomoroschky is the administrative center of the eponymous, 65.44 km² district council in the north of Oratiw district , which also includes the villages Werbiwka ( Вербівка , ) with about 430 inhabitants and Kamjanohirka ( Кам'яногірка , ) with about 290 inhabitants.

The village is located at an altitude of 244  m on the banks of the Roska ( Роська ), a 73 km long right tributary of the Ros , 20 km north of the Oratiw district center , 30 km southeast of Pohrebyshche and 80 km east of the Vinnytsia oblast center .

Territorial road T-02-23 runs through the village .
