2009–2011: As If! - EP
In July 2009 she signed a record deal with Parlophone . The following year she played a small supporting role as Jenny in the film Putty Hill by Matt Porterfield . The debut album, announced for early 2011, was withdrawn for unknown reasons. But on March 22, 2011, Ferreira released her first EP called As If! under the label Capitol Records . From this, the song Sex Rules , which was already on the Internet in summer 2010, was released as a single . Text videos for all As If! EP songs were distributed on YouTube and other video portals. An unofficial music video for Traces was also later released showing her with vampire teeth.
2012 – now: Ghost - EP
At the beginning of 2012 another album was planned with the title Wild at Heart ; later it was changed to I'm Not Alright . However, like the previous one, this was postponed to the following year. On Facebook she distributed some song titles such as Choke , Werewolf or You're Not the One , which she has already performed at several concerts.
On October 16, 2012, their second EP entitled Ghost was released in the United States. The EP has five songs. On January 7, 2013, she appeared on the television show Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and sang the song Everything Is Embarrassing . The album Night Time, My Time was released in October 2013. From February to June 2014, she served as the opening act on Miley Cyrus ' Bangerz Tour.
