The slump Mountain is a 2,195 m high mountain in the East Antarctic Victoria Land . In the Quartermain Mountains, it rises 1.1 km southwest of University Peak between the head ends of University Valley and Farnell Valley .
The New Zealand Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it after geological work that had taken place here between 1980 and 1981. Name is a form factor found here of mass movement ( English slump ) in a zone called Mechel-Tillits .
