The Small River Lea is a tributary of the River Lea . It branches off from the main river in Turnford and runs west of the Lea Navigation in a southerly direction, mostly parallel to it. It joins the Lea Navigation to the northeast of Enfield at the northwest corner of King George's Reservoir .
In addition to two waterways, the Small River Lea also receives a tributary from Bowyer's Water .
In its beginning, the Small River Lea is part of the Turnford & Cheshunt Pits Site of Special Scientific Interest .
