So Hyok-chol (born February 19, 1982 ) is a North Korean soccer player .

Career

Thus appears internationally as a player of the sports group Pyongyang . In 2007 he was one of the few players born in North Korea to play together with his compatriots Kim Myong-chol and Kim Song-chol abroad for the Chinese second division club Yanbian FC .

The defender was a regular member of the North Korean national team between 2001 and 2005 . In 2003 he was with the team in the final of the King's Cup in Thailand and played in the Asian Cup qualification . In qualifying for the 2006 World Cup , he also made two appearances. At the East Asian Championship 2005 he was part of the squad both in qualification and in the final tournament and finished 3rd in the end. In 2008 he was again in the squad for the finals of the East Asian Championship , but remained unused during the tournament.
