Soboliwka ( Ukrainian Соболівка ; Russian Соболевка Sobolewka , Polish Sobolówka ) is a village in the east of the Ukrainian Vinnytsia Oblast with about 3700 inhabitants (2001).
The village, first mentioned in writing in the middle of the 17th century, was robbed and destroyed by the Tatars in 1672 and rebuilt at the beginning of the 18th century. Soboliwka is the administrative center of the 10.12 km² district council of the same name in the west of Teplyk district , to which the village of Antoniwka ( Антонівка , ⊙ ) with about 400 inhabitants belongs.
The village in the historical region of Podolia lies on the bank of the Sura ( Сура ), a 24 km long tributary of the Southern Bug 24 km west of the district center Teplyk and about 120 km southeast of the oblast center Vinnytsia . Sobolivka has had a train station on the Vinnytsia – Hajworon railway since 1900 . Territorial road T-02-24 runs through the village .
