The German Softball Bundesliga 2015 was the 17th season of the Softball Bundesliga . Regular time began on April 25th and lasted until August 29th. The German champions were then determined in the play-offs from September 5th to September 27th. The Wesseling Vermins started the season as defending champions . The Brauweiler Raging Abbots were relegated and the Freising Grizzlies were promoted, so that, as in the previous year, the league was played on a single track with seven teams.
Regular season
The regular season was played as a round-robin tournament with two rounds, with each team playing against each other team once at home and once away. Two games were played as a double header on each match day , making two teams face each other four times.
Play-offs
The play-offs were played out in the page play-off system . In the quarter-finals, the first place winner of the regular season played a best-of-three series against the runner-up, with the winner qualifying directly for the final series. In addition, the third against the fourth placed also played a best-of-three series. The winner of this series then won the second finals against the loser of the other quarter-finals in a best-of-three series. The final series was played in best-of-five mode.
