Sa Sol ( 사솔 ; born March 21, 1994 in Cheongju , South Korea ) is a South Korean sport climber . In the 2018 World Cup , they finished second in the combination .

Career

Sa Sol started in 2009 with the participation in international climbing competitions, since 2010 also in the age group for adults. Her first podium was achieved in 2012 when she took first place in both speed climbing and difficult climbing at the Asian Youth Championships. In the following years she started in many competitions such as world championships and world cups, but rarely took one of the top places. Her greatest success so far was second place at the 2018 World Climbing Championships in Innsbruck in the combined discipline created for the 2020 Olympic Games .
