Soleil Moon Frye (born August 6, 1976 in Glendora , California , USA ) is an American actress and director .

Life

Soleil Moon Frye was born to Virgil Frye and Sondra Peluce. Her older half-brother Meeno Peluce , who also works as an actor, comes from an earlier relationship with her mother . Frye was a member of Scientology for a number of years . She has been married to television producer Jason Goldberg since 1998 and has four children.

Career

As a child, she had great success in the title role of the children's series Punky Brewster . Together with her half-brother, Frye wrote the screenplay for the film Wild Horses in 1998 , which they both also directed. Soleil Moon Frye was just 22 years old at the time and is one of the youngest directors in Hollywood .

During her teenage years, she had a romance with Edward Furlong . In Germany, Frye is mainly thanks to her role in the series Sabrina - Totally Verhext! known. In the series, she plays the somewhat strange college roommate Roxie King on the side of leading actress Melissa Joan Hart .

She also made a guest appearance on Friends in the episode Girls Whacking as Joey's friend.

In 2009 she opened a store for ecological baby clothes and toys in Los Angeles under the name The Little Seed .
