Soloniwka ( Ukrainian Солонівка ; Russian Солоновка Solonovka ) is a village in the north of the Ukrainian Oblast Chernihiv with about 480 inhabitants (2001).
The village forms its own 33.3 km² district council in Horodnja Rajon and is located on the small rivers Werptsch ( Верпч ) and Tetewa ( Тетева ) 15 km north of Horodnja district center and 72 km northeast of Chernihiv oblast center .
Personalities
In 1870 Maria Fedosjewna Wetrowa, a teacher and member of the St. Petersburg group of Narodovolts , was born in Soloniwka .
