Solution .45 is a Swedish melodic death metal - Super Group , which was founded in the year of 2007. Members of the band were or are members of bands such as Scar Symmetry , Miseration , Sonata Arctica , Dark Tranquility , Divinefire , Hateform , Kotipelto and Mehida .
history
The band was formed towards the end of 2007. In autumn 2008 the band recorded their first demo with producer Tomas "Plec" Johansson ( Unmoored , Scar Symmetry ). In autumn 2009 the band went back to the studio with Johansson to record their debut album. The album was released on March 25, 2010 under the name For Aeons Past via AFM Records . Mikael Stanne from Dark Tranquility could be heard as a guest singer. The cover was designed by Pär Olofsson ( Immortal , Exodus , The Faceless ). The band took part in the thirteenth ProgPower USA on September 15, 2012 . Then the band separated from their bassist Anders Edlund. The band is currently working on their second album, which will be released again on AFM Records.

The band plays melodic death metal that contains progressive elements. The singing alternates between clear and guttural singing .
