Sonali Bendre
Sonali Bendre or Sonali Bendre Behl ( Marathi : सोनाली बेंद्रे; born January 1, 1975 in Mumbai ) is an Indian actress and model . She plays mostly in Hindi films , but also in Marathi, Tamil - Telugu - and Kannadafilmen .
Life
Sonali studied in Bangalore and Bombay before starting her modeling career. Then she got her first film role in the film Aag on the side of Govinda . Her acting has received critical acclaim, especially in the films Sarfarosh , Zakhm , Duplicate , Hum Saath-Saath Hain: We Stand United , Dil Hi Dil Mein , Tera Mera Saath Rahey , Anaahat and many others.
In 1995 she won the Filmfare Award / Lux New Face and in 2001 the Star Screen Award in the category “Best Supporting Actress” for her performance in Hamara Dil Aapke Paas Hai . She was the only actress who not only nominated but also won the award.
She was highly regarded for her comedic appearances, such as in Love Ke Liye Kuchh Bhi Karega . Sonali is also known for her dance performance, which she demonstrated in Bombay , Lajja - Schande and Major Saab . She is also considered one of the most beautiful Bollywood actresses .
She married producer and director Goldie Behl on November 12, 2002 and gave birth to their son Ranveer on August 9, 2005.
