Sonja Kraushofer (born November 6, 1978 in Baden near Vienna , Austria ) is the singer of the bands L'Âme Immortelle , Coma Divine and Persephone .

Life

Sonja Kraushofer studied singing, dance and acting at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna and graduated with a diploma.

At the age of 17 she joined the band L'Âme Immortelle , with whom she reached high chart positions and toured Germany, Europe and Russia. For example, Kraushofer was in the German charts for ten weeks with Brennende Liebe (together with Ooomph! ) , The single made it to sixth place.

In addition, she recorded other compositions with the band Persephone , ranging from chanson, acoustic rock to the avant-garde.

In 2010 she founded the alternative rock band COMA DIVINE , among others with the guitarist Ashley Dayour ( Whispers in the Shadow ). In 2011 the debut album Dead End Circle was released .

Since 2005, Sonja Kraushofer has also been working as a theater director and actress. In the Ensemble Herzbruchstücke she stood alongside Harald Buresch on Austrian and German cabaret stages.
