The Sonnenscheiner Erbstollen , also known as the Sonnenscheiner Erbstollen, is a former Erbstollen in Oberdahlhausen . The tunnel mouth hole was in the Lindener Tal, 550 meters west of the Hasenwinkeler tunnel. Today the house at Am Hedtberg 34 is opposite. The Erbstollen is not identical to the Sonnenscheiner Stolln, which was set up in 1610.

history

After the Hasenwinkeler Stolln had lost the seam in 1761 due to a fault , the Sonnenscheiner Erbstolln was created in 1772 by the trades of the Hasenwinkeler Stolln. The creation of the Sonnenscheiner Erbstolln enabled a gain in depth of ten to twelve meters compared to the level of the Hasenwinkeler Adit. After the tunnel had been driven for around 160 meters , mining could begin that same year . In 1781 a new shaft was sunk . After the shaft with the tunnel broke through , the old shaft was discarded . In order to achieve a greater construction height, the General & Sonnenscheiner Erbstolln was added in 1783. In 1801, mining in the Sonnenscheiner Erbstolln ceased. At this point in time there were a total of seven shafts and one coal deposit on the Ruhr. In the same year the tunnel was decommissioned, and when the general tunnel No. 2 was built, the Sonnenscheiner Erbstollen was thrown off. In 1809 , the Sonnenscheiner Erbstolln consolidated with the Sonnenscheiner Stolln and the Hasenwinkeler Stolln to form the Hasenwinkel & Sonnenschein colliery . As early as 1825, the Sonnenscheiner Erbstolln could no longer be found.
