Sophie Gardener

Sophie Gärtner (born January 1, 1880 ; † November 1974 in Vienna ) was an Austrian politician ( CS ) and an association official.

life and career

Sophie Gärtner was born on January 1st, 1880 and appeared politically for the Christian Socialists (CS). From 1919 Gärtner appeared as a Viennese councilor and represented the 3rd Viennese district, Landstrasse , as a member of the Christian Socials (CS) , where she was part of the 1st electoral period of the Vienna State Parliament and Vienna City Council . In addition, she was the district manager of the political association “Frauenrecht” in the 10th district of Favoriten , as well as the head of an orthodontic group (Catholic women's organization for Vienna) and head of the Catholic workers' association in Landstrasse. Gärtner died in November 1974 at the age of 94 in Vienna.
