Sophie Hardy
Sophie Hardy (born October 4, 1944 in Paris ) is a French actress .
Career
She played a minor role alongside Gérard Barray in Triumph of the Musketeer in 1964 . In Germany, after her leading role in Max Péca's Treibgut der Liebe (1964) , the blonde Frenchwoman had success as Elise Penton in Alfred Vohrer's The Witcher (1964) and as Ann in Harald Reinl's Winnetou III . The Witcher was followed by another Edgar Wallace adaptation: The Secret of the White Nun , where she acted as the beleaguered heroine Sophie alongside Stewart Granger , Brigitte Horney , Siegfried Schürenberg and Eddi Arent . Further successes were her Cynthia in Jesus Franco's Cards on the Table (1966) with Eddie Constantine and the title role in Three Hats for Lisa (1966).
Despite the immense success, things got quieter around Sophie Hardy. After Don Sharp's A Taste of Excitement with Eva Renzi and Paul Hubschmid in 1969, Georges Lautner's Die Straße nach Salina followed in 1970 and the TV film Jules in 1994 . In 2000 Sophie Hardy made a comeback as the grandmother of Aurélien Wiik in the episode film Drug Scenes . Her episode La Purée was directed by Claude Lelouch's sons Seb and Simon Lelouch.
