Sophie Luck (born October 17, 1989 in Pymble , Sydney , New South Wales ) is an Australian actress .

life and career

Sophie Luck was born in October 1989 in Pymble, a suburb of Sydney . She attended drama schools from the age of seven. She graduated from Crestwood High School. She became known with the role of Fiona "Fly" Watson in the Australian youth series Blue Water High . In the first season she plays one of seven teenagers of the "Solar Blue Surf Team" and in the end she won the pro tour on which the series is based. In the second season she comes back to Sydney to finish school, takes the job as the second leader and trains the new candidates. In the third season she only appears in one episode to visit Bec, an old friend and former colleague of the "Solar Blue Team". In 2003 she had a role in Home and Away as Tamara Simpson for five months . She also had guest appearances in Snobs , Koalas and Other Relatives and Water Rats - Die Hafencops . Most recently, she was also seen in a guest role in the twelfth and final season premiere of the Australian doctor series All Saints .

Awards

Sophie Luck won the 2005 Australian Film Institute Award for Best Young Actress. In 2007 she was nominated for the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards .
