Sorelle Marinetti
Sorelle Marinetti ( the Marinetti sisters ) is the name of an Italian singer group formed by Nicola Olivieri, Andrea Allione and Marco Lugli .
Composition and style
The female stage names of the travesty group are Turbina , Mercuria and Scintilla .
The group name refers to the founder of Futurism , Filippo Tommaso Marinetti .
There are musical references to the swing of the 1930s, composers such as Giovanni D'Anzi (1906–1974) and groups such as the Boswell Sisters and the Trio Lescano . The standards include Bei Mir Bist Du Schoen . The group was cast in 2006 by producer Giorgio Bozzo . The first CD Non ce ne importa niente came out in 2008. Renowned studio musicians accompany the instrumental arrangements with Christian Schmitz ( piano ), Riccardo Tosi ( drums ), Paolo Dassi ( double bass ), Pierluigi Petris ( guitar ) and Alberto Ferrari ( clarinet , saxophone ), Riccardo Gibertini ( trombone ) and Alberto Bollettieri ( trumpet ) . The instrumentalists are mostly represented in the Orchestra Maniscalchi, also produced by Bozzo. The Sorelle occasionally perform together with this swing band.
Concerts and appearances
The group has had several television appearances, such as Maurizio Costanzo , SKY Vivo , the Maurizio Costanzo Show , Piero Chiambretti and they appeared at the Sanremo Festival 2010 with the singer Arisa .
A comparison with the Sorelle Bandiera and various remarks by Pippo Baudo before a planned TV appearance led to a minor scandal because the trio refused to go on stage.
