The Sorna Bluff is a striking and 2020 m high cliff in the West Antarctic Queen Elizabeth Land . In the Forrestal Range of the Pensacola Mountains , it rises above the May Valley on the northern flank of the Saratoga Table .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it using the United States Navy's own surveys and aerial photographs from 1956 to 1966. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1968 after Lieutenant Commander Ronald E. Sorna, a Navy pilot on flights to create aerial photographs the Pensacola Mountains.
