The 1995/96 season was the fourth and final regular season of the Southern Hockey League (until 1995 Sunshine Hockey League ). During the regular season, the six teams played 60 games each. In the play-offs, the Huntsville Channel Cats prevailed and won the first Sunshine Cup in their club's history.
