Social Science High School
A social science grammar school or a social and health science grammar school is a grammar school that has only one upper level . An earlier name was social pedagogical grammar school. With a school duration of three years, it is offered as a school form of the vocational high school in Baden-Württemberg . Upon successful completion of the final class, students have the general university entrance qualification and are entitled to study at a university.
Access Requirements are the Middle degree, to the Advanced School I-statements or the mid level or the displacement in the upper stage of a gymnasium.
curriculum
For the social profile, the State Office for School Development specifies pedagogy and psychology as the profile subject , computer science , craft and medium-sized businesses , nutrition science , word processing and economics as elective subjects . For the area of health, the profile subject health and care is included in the same electives .
Graduates are awarded the general university entrance qualification (Abitur) or, if the second foreign language has not been taken, the subject- specific university entrance qualification in some federal states . Under certain conditions, graduates from the penultimate grade can be awarded the technical college entrance qualification .
