The Sparkasse Dinslaken-Voerde-Hünxe was an institution under public law . The legal basis was the Sparkasse Act for North Rhine-Westphalia and the articles of association issued by the Sparkasse's administrative board . The organs of the Sparkasse were the executive board and the administrative board.

Business alignment

The Sparkasse Dinslaken-Voerde-Hünxe operated the universal banking business as a savings bank . It was the market leader in its field. The monetary and credit economic supply of the population and the regional economy in Dinslaken, Voerde and Hünxe found expression in the holistic support of private and corporate customers. In addition to the service in the branches, comprehensive advice in the
credit, giro and deposit business as well as in the securities, building society and insurance business represented the core business of the Sparkasse. In order to be able to make the customers an individual offer, the Sparkasse worked with its network partner LBS West, Landesbank Hessen-Thüringen , S-Kreditpartner , Provinzial Rheinland Versicherung, DekaBank Deutsche Girozentrale and Deutsche Leasing AG together.

history

In 1856 the Städtische Sparcasse zu Dinslaken was founded. As a result of the municipal reorganization, the Sparkasse Voerde joined in 1975 and the Sparkasse Hünxe in 1991, so that the Sparkasse Dinslaken-Voerde-Hünxe was created. This credit institution merged on January 1, 2016 with the Verbands-Sparkasse Wesel, which is now called Niederrheinische Sparkasse RheinLippe .

Social Commitment

The Sparkasse Dinslaken-Voerde-Hünxe promoted non-profit associations and institutions in its business area. In 2013, more than 670,000 euros were made available for non-profit associations as well as social and charitable institutions through donations or sponsorship measures.

On August 14, 2001, the community foundation of the Sparkasse Dinslaken-Voerde-Hünxe was launched. The purpose of the community foundation is to promote social and cultural institutions. This includes youth and elderly care, welfare, sport and animal welfare. Support for environmental protection, heritage and monument preservation in Dinslaken, Voerde and Hünxe are also among the areas of funding. The community foundation ensures that financial resources are permanently available to support the region. As of December 31, 2013, the foundation's assets amounted to EUR 2.79 million. Since it was founded, a total of 66 projects with a total of approx. 770,000 euros have been financially supported. In 2013, the community foundation approved grants for applied projects amounting to around 67,000 euros. A total of six individual measures were funded.

Current

The Sparkasse was not satisfied with the 2014 business results. The administrative board therefore instructed the board on March 2, 2015 to start exploratory talks with neighboring savings banks with the aim of a merger. As a result, Sparkasse Dinslaken-Voerde-Hünxe merged with Verbands-Sparkasse Wesel on January 1, 2016 . The assets of the Sparkasse Dinslaken-Voerde-Hünxe have been transferred as a whole to the Verbands-Sparkasse Wesel by way of universal succession. The Verbands-Sparkasse Wesel has changed its name to Niederrheinische Sparkasse RheinLippe .
