The Niederrheinische Sparkasse RheinLippe (that's how it is spelled , or Nispa for short) is a public-law savings bank based in Wesel on the Lower Rhine in North Rhine-Westphalia . Its business area extends over the cities of Wesel, Dinslaken , Hamminkeln and Voerde as well as the communities Schermbeck and Hünxe - all in the Wesel district .

history

Today's Nispa is a special purpose association savings bank for the municipalities of Wesel, Dinslaken, Hamminkeln, Voerde, Schermbeck and Hünxe. It was founded in 1827 as the Städtische Sparkasse zu Wesel. On January 1, 2016, the former Verbands-Sparkasse Wesel merged with the Sparkasse Dinslaken-Voerde-Hünxe to form this new savings bank.

Donations and sponsorship

The Niederrheinische Sparkasse RheinLippe supports various non-profit associations and institutions in its business area financially. In 2014, in the Wesel, Hamminkeln and Schermbeck business areas, a total of 0.5 million euros was distributed to clubs and institutions that pursue a sporting, cultural or social purpose.

For the 150th anniversary of one of its predecessors, Verbands-Sparkasse Wesel, the "Anniversary Foundation of Verbands-Sparkasse Wesel" was established in 1977. The foundation's assets of 255,600 euros at that time have meanwhile been increased to 3,900,000 euros. The purpose of the Jubilee Foundation is to promote home care, local history, local art and sport as well as the promotion of youth care and social tasks and facilities in the business area of ​​the Verbands-Sparkasse. The projects funded by the foundation include the construction of an athletics hall at the Aue Stadium and various youth centers. Since the anniversary foundation was founded, measures totaling 2,024,119 euros have been funded.
