The Sparkasse SoestWerl is an institution under public law . Its headquarters and main office are in Soest . A main office is operated in Werl .
Sparkasse SoestWerl was created from the merger of Sparkasse Soest and Sparkasse Werl on January 1, 2018. The technical merger was carried out on May 12 and 13, 2018. The merger was decided by the heads of the two savings banks in February 2017. The councils of the affected municipalities Werl, Ense and Wickede approved the merger in April 2017, the two special purpose associations in Werl and Soest in May and June 2017.
The organs of the Sparkasse are the administrative board and the executive board .
Support of the Savings Bank is the Zweckverband Sparkasse Soest Werl - Sparkassen zweckverband cities Soest and Werl and communities Bad Sassendorf , Ense , Lippetal , Möhnesee , Welver and Wickede (Ruhr) .
