Spayed was an analog punk band from Mexico formed in 2003. The group around writer Cecile is considered extremely influential, among other things, the straight edge culture relates to the band.

Acetate versions

Spayed 13 inch clear acetate , one of 33, only released in Argentina and South America.

The band has only released music on vinyl, 33 ⅓ and acetate 33 ⅓ discs. [2] The first EP was only released in the UK and only 727 copies on vinyl and 77 acetates were released. According to Raping Ears With Independent Tracks, seven days after their release all copies were all sold out.

No association with mainstream

Spayed never had the intention of becoming a corporate band, even though in 2007 iconic record label Touch and Go announced a possibility of releasing the band's 7 inch vinyl debut EP into their back catalog, the same year the band denied this in one Letter states that they will remain completely independent and deny having a relationship with the American record label. Since for 2008 the band refused any collaboration with Seattle based producer Jack Endino , although it is known that Mr. Endino liked the single Neurotic Eustacian tube and therefore a copy of the EP was offered to The Producer , but the copy was never delivered to him . Mr. Endino himself said in an interview published on Endino's personal web site.

Touring

After their success in South America and Europe and with the support of the Chilean producer Goli Gaete O'Ryan ( Lee Ranaldo of Sonic Youth ), the band will tackle their first major tour in 2010 and 2011 including several countries in South America ( Argentina , Brazil , Chile , Uruguay , Venezuela , Peru ) and in Europe ( United Kingdom , Germany ). The Infamous Punk Band Feederz from Arizona are confirmed for this tour . With neutered, but the exact dates of the tour are yet to be confirmed.
