The Spencer Nunatak is a distinctive nunatak in Marie Byrd Land in West Antarctica . It rises 15 km east-northeast of Mount LeSchack between the Wisconsin Range and the Long Hills in the Horlick Mountains .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it based on its own surveys and with the help of aerial photographs of the United States Navy from 1959 to 1960. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1962 after Donald J. Spencer, atmospheric researcher at Byrd Station in the Antarctic winter of 1958.
