spin tv (abbreviation for sp ecial in terest GmbH ) is an independent producer of service-oriented formats for television stations and moving image platforms.
The core business of the company includes the development and production of special interest formats of very different genres. These include u. a. Reports, documentaries, documentary / web soaps, magazines and service-oriented game and talk shows. The portfolio is expanded by industrial and image films, as well as advice to various companies in the economy in matters of media cooperation and media presence.
It was founded in 2000 by Thomas Luzar and Reinhold Geneikis. Today spin tv has around 40 permanent employees and a large number of freelancers. In addition to the company headquarters in Cologne center, spin tv is involved in joint venture companies in China (c-spin tv, Beijing) and Namibia (Harnasmedia, Windhoek). In addition, spin tv founded a joint venture with Michael Tsokos , a well-known German forensic doctor , in 2017 .

Ndf Entertainment GmbH joined spin TV in November 2017 and took over 24.9 percent of the shares. Thomas Luzar and Reinhold Geneikis will continue to be managing partners and majority shareholders at spin tv.
