Spirit of Health

Spirit of Health (own name: "Spirit of Health - Congress for Alternative Healing Methods") is an annual, commercial congress for esoteric and miraculous healing in Berlin organized by Humble Verlag . The organizing company applies here u. a. also the harmful Miracle Mineral Supplement ( MMS ).

Humble Verlag from Roermond in the Netherlands has been organizing the "Spirit-of-Health" conference as an annual "Congress for alternative healing methods" since 2014. The exact location of the event was only announced two weeks before the start of the congress in 2018. It took place at the beginning of March at the Maritim proArte Hotel in Berlin.

In 2014 the congress took place in Hanover. A self-help group of MMS victims and critics of the substance turned to the city administration with an open letter demanding that the congress be canceled. However, according to its own statement, the city lacked the legal framework for this.

Speakers

In addition to Jim Humble, speakers who publish their writings with Humble Verlag also take part in the event; including Richard Rudd. In addition, reports on the work of the individual speakers are published in the publisher's magazine, “Spirit of Health”.

As a speaker well known far beyond the MMS scene, the Swiss sect leader Ivo Sasek has been announced for the 2018 conference on the subject of "Laws of healing". Sasek is the founder of the Anti-Censorship Coalition (AZK) , a forum for esotericists , conspiracy theorists , history revisionists and Holocaust deniers , as well as the new religious Organic Christ Generation (OCG).

Promotion of hazardous substances

At the conference, the Miracle Mineral Supplement (MMS) will be actively promoted. MMS are substances that lead to the formation of chlorine dioxide . This highly reactive combination of chlorine and oxygen is irritating and corrosive. In non-esoteric use, these chlorine compounds are strongly diluted and used exclusively for water disinfection .

The Federal Institute for Risk Assessment urgently advised against taking and using MMS in 2012. The Federal Institute for Drugs and Medical Devices (BfArM) has also warned against the drug. In 2014 the BfArM officially classified two MQL products as “questionable”. The ingestion is "associated with harmful effects"; it could also lead to severe burns.

Advertising with false doctoral degrees

Before the 2015 event in Kassel, the trade fair operators were warned by the German Consumer Association . The consumer advocates asked them not to advertise the fair with false doctoral degrees, such as Bernd Klein alias Dr. Leonard Coldwell.
