The first issue of the magazine Sport-Kurier Mannheim was published on August 6, 2004 by the owner Michael Wilkening. At the time, Manfred Jordan, the owner of Media-Marketing SMJ, was an equal partner in the company. Michael Wilkening left the company in February 2006 and Manfred Jordan took over as sole manager. Manfred Jordan has been the editor-in-chief since February 1, 2006, and is therefore the managing owner of Sport-Kurier Mannheim. The introductory price was EUR 2.40.
