Sportski žurnal ( Serbian - Cyrillic Спортски журнал ; Serbian for "Sport-Journal"), colloquially often referred to as Žurnal , is a daily Serbian sports magazine . It is the sports - daily newspaper with the largest circulation in Serbia and one of the highest in South-Eastern Europe and is therefore regarded as the leading journal in the country.
The first edition appeared in 1990 and the largest part is coverage of football , especially the Serbian competitions, but also all other national and international sports , especially basketball , volleyball , handball , tennis , water polo and athletics .
The main editorial office of Sportski žurnal is based in Belgrade . This is also associated with a strong trend in reporting : the local clubs Red Star and Partizan take up a relatively large amount of space. Quite a lot is reported about Vojvodina Novi Sad , but there are also regular reports about all other clubs.
