Sports center Maspernplatz
The Maspernplatz sports center , also called Maspernhalle , is a sports hall in Paderborn . It is located on the northern edge of the city center in the direct vicinity of Maspernplatz and the swimming pool "Schwimmoper". The second division basketball team Paderborn Baskets is currently playing its home games here. Occasionally other events and concerts take place in the hall, such as performances by Udo Jürgens or Atze Schröder . For basketball games, the hall, which according to the new 2011 guidelines is no longer suitable for the first division, has a capacity of 2500 seats.
