Spring is a census-designated place in Harris County in the US state of Texas . The community has a good 50,000 residents and is located about 30 kilometers north of Houston and is part of the Houston-Sugar Land-Baytown metropolitan area .
The local baseball team made third place in the Little (11-12 years) age group in 1988 and second place in 1995 , as well as in the Junior age group (13-14 years) in 1991 and 1996, winning the World Cup .
Besides the amusement park Wet'n'Wild SplashTown, also the Wunsche Bros. Saloon and Hotel is worth seeing .
