Friedrich Wilhelm August Zachariae (born August 24, 1793 in Göttingen ; † November 3, 1865 ibid) was a German administrative lawyer and politician.

Life

Friedrich Zachariae was the son of the city judge in Göttingen Friedrich Wilhelm Christian Zachariae. He enrolled in 1810 to study law at the University of Göttingen . He became a member of the Corps Hannovera Göttingen and as senior of the Corps signed together with the Consenior Alfred Heyne for this the SC-Comment of the Göttingen Seniors Convent of April 2, 1813. After the wars of liberation and the exams, he entered the administrative service of the Kingdom of Hanover a. In 1818 he became an official assessor in Göttingen, 1840 (titular?) Magistrate in Grohnde , and from 1841 to 1852 magistrate in Lauenstein . From 1853 to 1862 he worked as the royal Hanoverian chief magistrate (district administrator) in Göttingen . He was a member of the Hanover State Council until his death .

Zachariae was married twice and had six children.
