Spring Hill is a city in Maury County and Williamson County in the US -amerikanischen State Tennessee . In 2000, Spring Hill had 7,715 residents; by the official estimate in 2009 the population had grown to 27,369.

Spring Hill and Thompson's Station form a twin city that has grown together, each with its own administrations. While Thompson's Station is completely in Williamson County (capital Franklin ), Spring Hill is roughly half in Maury County (capital Columbia ) and half in Williamson County.

history

Spring Hill was the site of the Battle of Spring Hill on November 29, 1864 during the Civil War .

Thompson's Station, which was also the scene of the Civil War and the Battle of Thompson's Station on March 4, 1863, has a population of 1723 (2008). Of these, 91.19% are white, 7.01% are African-American and 1.8% are of other ethnicities.
